ESD Compliance
ESD compliance is one of
those things everyone seems to take for granted. At ACT we take it
seriously.
All components are
stored in Fully Conductive Totes until they are packed for final shipment (after
inspection).
If you ever have a
chance to stop by and take a live tour, you'd see ALL OUR TAPING EQUIPMENT for
ESD Sensitive devices are on FULLY CONDUCTIVE WORK BENCHES. (Not desks)
And we don't stop
there...
These work stations
also have FULLY CONDUCTIVE MATS and DOUBLE GROUND CHECK MONITORS with extremely
annoying alarms when somebody is not plugged in. Why DOUBLE MONITORS?
You should have two during training or anytime two people are working at a
machine.
All Production Staff
test their wrist and heel straps when they start every shift and return from
lunch EVERYDAY.
We have routine
compliance checks conducted by an outside agency to ensure full EIA compliance.
The Production are has
Humidity maintained at 40-45% with multi-station sensors that are calibrated and
certified traceable to NIST standards!
